Confined Space Work (General)
Entry into and work within confined spaces such as pits, tanks, chambers, pipes and vaults, including identification, permits, atmospheric control, entry, the task and rescue.
Objective
Complete the work safely by controlling engulfment, atmospheric and entrapment hazards through entry permits, isolation, gas testing and continuous monitoring, a dedicated standby person and a resourced rescue plan.
