About SWMS Aus

SWMS Aus is an Australian company that makes safety documentation for construction and trade businesses.

We started SWMS Aus because we kept hearing the same complaints. Clients were paying too much for online SWMS, or couldn't find the right one for the job. Others were dealing with subcontractors who'd moved into higher-risk work without the paperwork to match, or just didn't have the admin side sorted. So we built a set of templates to fix that: for our own clients first, and for new teams getting themselves set up.

Our templates are reviewed by people who work in health and safety and understand the trades they're made for. The hazards, controls, PPE and legislative references come from real experience, not guesswork. You add your own site details and check everything against the actual job before you use it.

Our SWMS and SOPs come in state-specific versions, with genuinely localised legislation (not find-and-replace state names) so you're working from the right rules for where you are. Our JSAs and VOCs are national.

We keep an eye on the regulations and update our templates when things change. Even so, you should confirm current legislation with your state regulator before you rely on any document.
