How the system is built

Four layers. The first is your business, the second is your jobs, the third is what goes to the crew, and the fourth is your people. Documents that record something point back at the procedure that requires them.

The SWMS in layer three are the same documents sold as the Concrete Cutting and Core Drilling trade pack.

Standard WHS is the working system: how hazards get identified and controlled, how incidents are reported and investigated, how workers are consulted, trained and supervised, and how each of those is recorded. It is structured around the duties the WHS Act and Regulations place on a business, with review and improvement carried by a single procedure.

55 documents

The governing layer of the system, and the part that does not change from job to job. Your WHS policy set, the management system manual, the procedures that define how the business operates, and the registers that evidence it.

Written for one state, not eight

Each edition references the Act, the regulator and the terms used where the work is. Victoria is not a WHS state: it runs the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 with employers and employees, where the harmonised states run a WHS Act with a PCBU. The edition you choose uses the language of your jurisdiction the whole way through.

Who buys this

Scattered documents

A concrete cutting and core drilling business with SWMS, a policy and forms collected over time, kept in different places and not referencing one another.

Rebuilding the same paperwork

Operations that put safety documents together again for each new job, rather than working from one numbered and cross-referenced set.

Several crews, several sites

Businesses where hazards, training and records now have to be handled the same way across crews, rather than by being on every site.

These are editable templates for you to adapt to your business and your sites. They are not certification and they are not advice. A competent person needs to complete and review them for the work you actually do.

What happens after you buy

1

Download

An email with your download link lands straight after checkout, along with a tax invoice. One file, your state edition.

2

Make it yours

Logo, company details, the plant you own and the way you work. Start with the core system, which is your business, then the project and site layer, which is your jobs.

3

Put it to work

Induct the crew off the training decks, run the toolbox talks, and open the project folder on the next job.

Questions

What do I actually get?

215 documents in the Standard edition and 220 in ISO 45001, in one download, in four folders, with a Start Here guide at the top. The core system is 61 documents: policies, the WHS manual, procedures, registers and forms. On top of that, 49 project and site documents; 52 safe work documents, being 12 SWMS, 21 SOPs, 9 JSAs and 10 pre-start inspections; and 57 for training and competency. Everything is numbered and cross-referenced so the procedures point at the forms and the forms feed the registers.

Do I still have to fill it in?

Yeah, and it's more than filling in the blanks. The drafting is done: the structure, the procedures and the legislation named for your state. What it can't know is your business, so your part is to check that what it references matches the work you actually do, and add anything specific to it. Put your business into it: your company details, how you actually run jobs, the plant you actually own, and the hazards on your sites. A competent person has to read it and be satisfied it suits the work you do. It is a system to adapt, not a certificate.

Which state do I choose?

The one you work in. Each edition is written against that jurisdiction, so the NSW edition runs on the WHS Act and SafeWork NSW, and the Victorian edition runs on the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 with employers and employees rather than a PCBU. If you work across borders, pick the state your head office sits in and adapt the rest.

Will this get me ISO 45001 certified?

No, and nobody selling you a document can. Certification comes from an external audit of what you actually do. What this gives you is the documented information a certification audit works from, in a structure that maps to the standard, so the gap you are closing is your practice rather than your paperwork.

Can I put my logo on it and change it?

It's editable Word and Excel. Add your logo, change the wording, delete what does not apply and add what does. Once you buy it you can use it across your own business and your own jobs for as long as you like.

How do I get it?

Straight after checkout. You get an email with a download link for the edition you chose, as one file. A tax invoice comes with it.

Need your pack tailored to your business?

The pack is written to be adapted, and most businesses do that themselves. If you would rather not, we can do it with you: your company details and branding through the set, the procedures matched to how you actually run concrete cutting and core drilling work, and the plant and tasks in your registers rather than a generic list. Tell us the scope and we will quote it.
