Line Marking (Traffic Management)
Application of road and pavement line marking in paint and thermoplastic, including set-out, machine application, hot material handling and protection of fresh markings.
Objective
Complete the work safely by controlling struck-by live traffic, hot thermoplastic burns and fumes, and paint solvents through a compliant TMP, hot-work PPE, ventilation and protected work positions.
This is the Traffic Management version. The hazards and controls are written around traffic management work, so it differs from the other 1 trade versions of Line Marking. Compare all 2.
Built by WHS professionals, written for your state
Every document is built by WHS professionals. Each state version references the Act, regulator, and requirements for the state you select. Victoria gets the OHS Act and WorkSafe Victoria, NSW gets the WHS Act and SafeWork NSW.

When you'd use this SWMS
If line marking (traffic management) is part of your job, the builder or head contractor will usually want a SWMS for it before you start on site. This one's editable in Word. Add your company and site details, check the hazards and controls against the actual job, and get your crew to sign on before work starts.
Doing the whole trade? The Traffic Management pack bundles this with the rest and works out cheaper. New to it? Here's what goes in a SWMS.
