Construction and traffic management works carried out during night hours under artificial lighting, including set-up, plant operation, manual control and pack-down where darkness, fatigue and impaired drivers raise the risk.
Objective
Complete the work safely by controlling struck-by impaired and speeding drivers in darkness, reduced visibility and shift fatigue through task lighting, retroreflective hi-vis conspicuity, an illuminated traffic guidance scheme and a fatigue management plan.
