Cabinet Installation (Carpentry)
Installation of kitchen, bathroom and joinery cabinets - carcasses, benchtops, wall units and the appliance interface - so wall units cannot fall and benchtops are lifted mechanically.
Objective
Complete the work safely by controlling falling wall cabinets, heavy benchtop handling and respirable crystalline silica from on-site stone cutting through structural fixing, mechanical aids and wet methods with P2 respiratory protection.
This is the Carpentry version. The hazards and controls are written around carpentry work, so it differs from the other 2 trade versions of Cabinet Installation. Compare all 3.

When you'd use this SWMS
If cabinet installation (carpentry) is part of your job, the builder or head contractor will usually want a SWMS for it before you start on site. This one's editable in Word. Add your company and site details, check the hazards and controls against the actual job, and get your crew to sign on before work starts.
Doing the whole trade? The Carpentry pack bundles this with the rest and works out cheaper. New to it? Here's what goes in a SWMS.
