Delivering supports inside a participant's home - entry and exit, working in occupied rooms, other household members, animals and hazards the worker cannot change.

Lifting, carrying, pushing and repositioning in support work - shopping, laundry, equipment, furniture and household tasks, excluding participant transfers covered by their own SWMS.

Assisting participants with showering, bathing, toileting, continence care, grooming and dressing in their homes and supported accommodation.

Planned manual transfers - bed to chair, chair to toilet, sit to stand, walking support and repositioning - performed solo or two-person per the participant's support plan.

Transfers using mobile floor hoists and ceiling hoists with slings - bed, chair, shower and floor recovery transfers in homes and supported accommodation.

Driving participants to appointments and community activities - boarding and alighting, wheelchair loading, restraint systems and behaviour in transit.

Assisting participants with medication per their plan, and handling sharps - insulin pens, lancets and injecting equipment - found or used during supports.

Standard and transmission-based precautions during supports - hand hygiene, PPE, respiratory illness, gastro outbreaks and working across multiple homes in a day.

Cleaning up blood, vomit, urine, faeces and other body fluids in participants' homes and vehicles, including contaminated surfaces and disposal.

Household tasks in participants' homes - cleaning, dishes, rubbish, bed-making and tidying - using the household's own products and equipment.

Preparing and serving meals in participants' kitchens - safe food handling, knives, hot surfaces and oil, and allergen and texture requirements from the support plan.

Washing clothing, bedding and linen including items soiled with body fluids - sorting, machine use, chemical handling and drying in domestic laundries.

Light garden and yard tasks as part of household supports - mowing, edge trimming, weeding, sweeping and green waste - using the household's own equipment.

Preventing and responding to aggression, threats and assault toward workers - from participants, family members, co-tenants or the public - across all support settings.

Working with participants whose support needs include behaviours of concern - planned strategies, early signs, safe responses and worker protection during escalation.

Shifts worked alone - single-worker home visits, community supports, sleepovers and overnight shifts - including remote locations and after-hours travel.

Supporting participants in shops, pools, parks, appointments and public transport - crowds, traffic interfaces, public behaviour and participant safety in open settings.

Fire and emergency response in homes and supported accommodation where the participant cannot evacuate unaided - planning, assisted escape, refuge and communication with emergency services.
